CNN showing excellent rebuttal to media reporting

Rep Tauzin of Louisiana, a republican
he points out that Bush's victory in Tennessee was not announced until California polls closed
they withheld the victory call for over an hour
any story of Gore losing his home state would have had very large negative factor

he also pointed to several nearby states
Gore victory was called with smaller margins
compared to Bush victory with larger margins
he cited Bush wins in Ohio and Colorado
he cited Gore wins in Pennsylvania and Minnesota

Rep Cox of California, a republican
media's call of Gore victory in Calif led to lowest voter turnout in Orange County LA since 1954
the media victory call occurred before the Calif polls closed

a Yale LawSchool professor makes a point that the Florida Panhandle voted with 4% less frequency than in past elections
he factored in higher general turnout
(this is a simple 2-way ANOVA statistical layout)
his conclusion: Bush might have received 10,000 more votes in Panhandle
they voted less after hearing Gore had won FLorida
almost no rush between 6-7pm occurred nearby Eglin AirForce Base

his point is that media reporting could have had an influence of voting
a bias favoring Gore
more stories like this will be forthcoming
I have long enjoyed the liberal bias by press and media
but not when I vote for a Republican
