<smell the coffee, DAK.. most recessions caused by Federal Reserve> I disagree... not that I don't think they muck things up and magnify the problem {I think they created a bigger boom than would otherwise have occured for instance}, but to imply that recessions would be all but eliminated with no fed is wrong IMO and NOT born out by history or statistics. I find the assertion interesting however, and if you have suggested readings/evidence on the topic I would be interested. DAK
