Hi Carl, you've been mentioned to me by 2 of the smartest
posters on SI this past week.....so you have obviously been
doing some good work. I wanted to send along a few kudos.....

I'll need to check out some more of your recent thinking.

I subscribed to Prechter in 1984, and had his letter and
his 3 times a week telephone update.

that guy made us so much money between 1984 and the crash
of 1987, and he actually had us out of the market
completely several weeks before the crash.

He got so white Hot that it was inevitable that when he
was the barron's cover story in 1987-88 he would implode.

He had made so much money by then that it can tend to
create that mindset that you don't need to worry about what
happens next with the Mkt.

And anyone who listens to 1 voice only in the market is
probably doomed....No getting around "Free Will" and
particpating in one's future.

When I was trading FX at CMB in the late 80's I actually
sprang for the money to buy every back dated issue of his
newletter from 1978 or so and then left the entire back
at CMB when I left late on.

....such is life.

IMO anyone who has not seen his 50 or 70 page
booklet that came with his Precision ratio compass
is going to have a hard time with the interlocking
mathematical harmony of Fib ratios.

Bob Miner is also doing some really great Elliot
fibonacci ratio work and his software is pretty amazing
as well.

One more thought about Fib ratio's .....if anyone really
wants to get into them, get a compass and work with
it on paper charts, the feel for flipping the compass
back and forth with the different ratio's, as well as
the fact that this type of activity is saved in a different
area of the brain than just looking at a chart and software
is Super important IMO.

When one writing things down by hand, it's also saved
in a different section of the brain, hence the superior
retention.

Linda Bradford Radscke really reinforced that idea in
my mine when I saw her last month.
