Gerald, I see you might be responding to the concern/question in my post 4727.

My thoughts too. Do we want to march on to a more stable and mature company only concentrating on Wyoming? Or, use the maturing of Wyoming as seed money to make a potentially bigger and more profitable company company with the merger with Pendaries.

One could argue that oil and gas companies should always be looking for more reserves. Should we do that just in Wyoming, or expand to Texas, Gulf of Mexico, China.

Some of us have been in UP so long with no payoff, that we want near term revenue, profit, and stock appreciation. Others of might be willing to let the stock price remain low , risk the revenues for the potential that China presents.

Obviouly, if your investment in UP is your life's savings, you may be invested in the wrong stock (or at least need some diversification).

I'd better stop rambling. Let's try to get some opinions on this merger from other folks.
