Touche Diana: you are absolutely right: people should be held to "tak[ing] responsibility for their own decisions."

I also agree that there are numerous, diverse, ways to avoid pregnancy; one is: an asprin tablet [held tightly between the knees]; the other is: common sense; and, last, but not least is the fact that it is, and should always be, a very personal decision, not subject to intervention by anyone. Still, it does entail responsibility of some kind; and, I don't believe people should be absolved from that.
