Where did the idea that Cain is not in the genealogy of Adam come from? Not sure what it means, Shalom. Heard various theories about the mark, but none worth repeating. It's worthy to note here, that God had mercy upon a murderer. I guess some would say He just took steps to prevent an escalation of the violence -- but He certainly did it at Cain's pleading. I'll be interested to see what others ideas are on the subject. Just been reading all the good posts today -- listening for a change instead of talking so much. Got a lot of work to do tonight for a friend. Hoping and praying that I can accomplish a lot this evening. God bless you Shalom.
