I probably need to clarify my question. Why would announcing you are going to sell some assets make XPDR stock go up? I am aware that PSIX had previously mentioned they might sell XPDR if they could. That is probably why it is treated as a discontinued operation in their financial statements.

Course, I also don't think hiring Goldman to sell PSIX assets is good news for PSIX. To me it means the accountants could not figure out a way to get the company cash flow positive in a reasonable period of time.
