But she gets NO credit for rehabilitation? Your argument is that Bush should be forgiven for his past mistakes, why not provide the same for others? Hey, I agree with cap punishment wholeheartedly, but I believe this lady had qualities that could have let her live, including genuinely finding God and religion. Instead, dubya used her as a political pawn to show his firmness with the death penalty. A man of honor and compassion, indeed!
