There is no doubt in my mind that the team of Bush/Cheney would be much more friendly to the oil industry than Gore/Leiberman..... Gore would help the alternative energy industry much more, which is not such a bad idea in my opinion because we are simply much too dependent on foreign oil supplies, and even increased domestic drilling activity will not cure our sorry state of addiction unless I am missing something here...... Having said that, I still believe that if Gore succeeds in stealing the election, more harm than good to our country will be the long term result as the corrupt "winning at any cost" attitude becomes firmly entrenched in the nation's psyche.
