The problem with settops is that the big deployments are using STM chips; Echostar, DirecTV, MOT US cable boxes, SFA cable boxes, PACE BSkyB, ect. It leaves C-Cube in boxes that are not being deployed as fast, hence market share increases are hard to come by. "IF" they would take a few of STM's boxes, then they could ramp market share. When Umesh talks of market share increases today, he's talking about wins like Sony, and MOT Europe, along with increased shipments to SkyPerfecTV, the German Market with Philips and Nokia, Pace, ect., but they are starting from lower basis. |
