You have a great imagination Robert, keep up the brainstorming. Regardless, no way they do it this way. Too contamination prone, the enzyme exposure from saliva alone would be awful in terms of degradation, let alone the stomach acids. Plus, you could never say with certainty if the proteins came from the mothers or the pups. You can bet that they just express the milk from the mama mices with great care. If they can inject into cell nuclei one at a time, you can be sure that they can express milk from mice. I doubt if any machine is involved, it is probably just done by hand or with a small tool. Maybe they just adapt a breast pump down with some rubber tubing. I still like my Mouse-a-Matic blender conversion. Mmmmm great mouse, nice and frothy, and pink too.
