I agree there is a considerable possibility that Bush will have more votes after the end of this process. The pity is that he has stood so four-square against seeing the votes go forward. With all votes counted then he will have won legitimately. Yet history will remember him as obstructing a count that may ultimately have validated his term as President, should he turn out to win.

Around these parts that's called peeing in your own drinking water. What a shame that he couldn't have exercised more statesmanship last night and accepted the opportunity to work with Vice President Gore rather than stand in the way of counting the full will of the people.
