Beckya; I watch the trend and skip from 1 hr 30 min & "down to 5 min as I get close to pulling the trigger" I use MACD-HIST more than MACD, and want to see some divergence. I also use the 12 NDX Mo Mo stocks..and look for one or two key stocks who have a lot more than their average volume for the day. My Mo Mo list comes from the most $dollar traded stocks in the NDX via a 3 mo avg vol X price. read Message 14490684 ----------- So I'm looking at several things and want them to confirm one another, over time you get the feel for it, until you do just paper trade. And keep in mind when you paper trade it's easier than when your placing orders for often there is an 1/8th both ways from when you decide to go for it and actually get it. Jim
