JW, Boies says the Supreme Court would not have allowed the hand count to go on if it was just going to take the results and put them in the history books. But Boies is a bit over confident these days after single handedly dismantling one of the greatest companies in corporate america. My gut feeling says Gore's campaign is just posturing and will concede this weekend if the overseas votes puts Bush on top. Likewise, in the unlikely event that the overseas votes puts Gore on top, I'd expect Bush to concede without a fight. They want to be able to say the Gore won the popular vote, Gore won the hand vote, but Bush won on a technicality. They are trying to make Bush look as bad as they can before they bow out.
