Of course, if there were only two candidates, there would never have been any need for the butterfly ballot and therefore no misunderstanding.

There were other candidates, and at least one of them has integrity and a solid platform based on the U.S. Constitution.

As long as we, as a country, insist on only voting for the two political parties who are more interested in maintaining their own power, than in the interests of the people, we deserve all of this bullshit.

The alternative parties like the Libertarians, Reform, Green, Independent etc..... should be jumping all over this and letting the American people know that there are alternatives to these bozos. Then, maybe next time we can have a campaign and election that includes "the will of the people", instead of just the two parties. If the Dems and the Reps were really interested in the "will of the people", you would think that they would have included the third party candidates in the debates.

Of course, all in my very disgusted opinion.
