you know what's missing from that document? the words windows 2000! i'm not going to do it. i'm not going to go through that melt down procedure again. there are so many places in their instructions where they provide incorrect data. i just know now that i can't trust them.

i have norton systemworks working right now with this restored image. i don't care how many times symantec says their nsw2001 is win2k compliant, i say it isn't.

if i give it awhile, and think about how well this restore process just went, maybe i'll suck it up enough to go back in for the manual uninstall. truth be told, though, this is ridiculous. it really is.
