If you want to do a cost comparison consider that a bottle of Zicam should last approximately 3 colds... I think a packet of Cold Eese only one...

Other possible advantages:

As I understand it, Cold Eese, to be effective, must be used prior to nasal infection. Once the nasal passage way is closed the lozenge may no longer be effective.

The taste and other side effects of Cold Eese is a deterrent. No taste at all in Zicam.

Zicam clinically reported to be faster acting (applied directly to the point of attack of the cold) and more effective.

Zicam more effective promulgation of zinc. i.e. Smaller dosage.
