Tom Mendoza is a short, wirey scrapper from Boston. I would not have wanted to piss him off when he was a lad. He woulda kicked me in the shins and punched me in the nose before I even knew there was a fight! He is ready to fight EMC and points out that the win rate against EMC is getting higher. That remark from EMC that NTAP is "roadkill" really pissed him off. In my experience selling iron when a company starts talking about roadkill, attack helicopters, etc., it is a sure sign that that company is already losing a competitive battle and is resorting to fear tactics to impress its customers.
