I think your mom will like that penthouse .... as far as I'm concerned, the assisted living deal is ok.. My two family experiences with similar left me feeling that it was a fine situation. One close friend has his mom in one in Dallas ... the lady has simply blossomed after getting there. The round the clock nurses, twice daily visits (and more)was wearing on all, her included. Heck, she is now up galavanting around, playing the piano daily in the rec room === "for the old folks", as she says .... Gloom begits gloom .... Happy makes it better .... peace
