Good Morning Jilly - thanks for the information. I'm printing this off - I replaced my air filters when I bought my first hepafilters -got the best ones I could find, but I'm going to check out the Austin ones - these will need replacing in just a couple months. This pretty well explains the source:
"More than 30 families in The Woodlands have joined together in a lawsuit filed Sept 23 against Life Forms Homes, Inc. stating that the faultiness of the exterior finishing used on their homes has led to major interior damage. The homes in question were finished with an exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS) more commonly known as synthetic stucco. The suit alleges that the faulty synthetic stucco allowed excessive water penetration, which has led to high moisture levels in the cladding as well as structural samage from rot and termite infestation." Of course in addition to the home damage are the health risks associated with this mold which can be severe. This could explain a condition my daugher has had for the last 3 + years, as well as skin rashes of my own.

1/3 of my home is synthetic stucco. It is going to have to be torn off, cleaned out, damage assessed, repaired and replaced. What a mess. I could go on, but I'll spare you!

I haven't even turned on the tele yet - I feel like watching the news updates lately like I watch a scary movie -eyes wide open, covered with hands, ready to scream.

Coffee anyone?
