The same people in Palm Beach county who stuck a poker through 45,000 ballots might be the same ones who are doing the "impartial" manual count!

Palm Beach county, if you remember, picked up 750 votes for Gore on the first recount. In 63 of 67 counties the errors occurred equally for Bush and Gore. Palm Beach had an error rate 120 times any other county, a statistical impossibility. The author of the article believes these were picked up from punching "protest votes" with no candidate chosen (2% of all ballots in Florida) to Gore votes.
