I'm definitely not an expert market timer, but others have said "buy when blood is running in the streets" and "sell when there's not a bear in sight." I've also heard that contrarian sentiment works well when you're going against a 3-1 opinion, but 10-1's are usually right. I don't really consider myself contrarian, but maybe I am. I just get a little nervous when everyone starts getting VERY bullish. I also get interested when everyone is bearish, but fundamentals look good. That said, please don't take my advice, implied or otherwise. If you had sold AMAT when I did, you might be disappointed at your missed profits.

I actually think that the current bull run will last for at least a few weeks. I suspect that most investors during this time will do very well. I'm just starting to be concerned that the next correction from this market could be kind of large. This has nothing to do with AMAT, and I think that long term, AMAT is a great stock and company.

Thanks,
Mike
