Andy,

Good thinking.

This would be the case for most of us. However, Yaacov trades under Swiss law which apparently says NO TAXES on capital gains from investments made in the U.S.

Your opinion please: If Yaacov were to learn of his shares being called within minutes or even a couple of hours what do you suppose are the chances that he would pay anything more than a couple of points to get back in the shares that were called. I realize Intel can jump 6-8 points in a day but in minutes to an hour? Seems to me the risks from that regard are minimal if your broker cares about you. I would bet a large some of money that Yaacov is one of a hand full of clients that would take any measures needed to keep him happy.

Thanks,

km
