We are gods. God is a part of all of us. If God guides our hands to abort, then who are we to deny God?

Well we will simply have to disagree that God is a part of all of us. I think God is simply not in most of us, that the vast majority of humans throughout history have been Godless.

I do not believe God guides our hands to abort. If I cannot prove this to you and you cannot prove He does guide our hands, then where does this leave us? It leaves you aborting humans without proof that God guides you. In other words, you are aborting as if you are God, as if you know His will, but knowing of a certainty nothing of His will on this issue.

Now if we both accept a God to which we must give an account, then the onus is not on me to prove He is against you. It is on you to prove He is for you, since you by your actions and belief first declare abortion acceptable and even sanctioned by God. You must first rationally prove you are correct to have your actions accepted by civilized men. Even without God, the onus is on you to prove you are correct in accordance with your own moral theory. I think were we to sincerely and honestly pin down that theory, you would see that abortion contradicts it.

We only free the soul from it's host, the body. According to many religions, life does not end with the destruction of the body.

This is not the point. My point was that our “freeing the souls” of innocent unborn children may well be proof of the endangerment of our own souls. Even so, that abortion results in gain for its victim provides us no logical basis to assume it is good and that we, in committing the abortion, have done good. A man may rape a woman who becomes pregnant giving birth to a child who later grows to save its mother from breast cancer. The rapist should not be honoured nevertheless. He should still die.

At the end, [my father] died of Alzheimers and didn't know me, so he probably won't know me in Heaven, but that is OK.

I think if you and he are chosen for heaven, he will know you to the profoundest degree imaginable, far more than any human has ever known any other on earth.
