I said we would have our President Sunday night and I believe he will concede for his and his party's political future Well, it looks like Gore is going to appeal to the Florida Supreme Court. Bad prediction on my part; should have stopped while I was ahead.<g> If we get some sort of quick answer from the court, it could still be over by Sunday. Gore's team suprised me with their appeal this afternoon but I do not think they will enter any Federal court action to get the votes in in the event they lose in Florida court. Gore's lawyers must have told him that you will have an answer shortly from the courts anyways and that there is nothing to lose---why bother conceding at this point. Hopefully, we know by no later than tomorrow. Political advisors may have had different opinions but it looks like he listened to the lawyers. I think Bush is going to win in Florida Supreme Court as well.
