Hello All. Now that I can apparently post here, I would like to introduce myself as another COS holder. I have been excited recently about the prospects for Corel, but then, I had the same excitement when I bought in last quarter. (BTW, I am an investing newbie.) Earnings weren't there last quarter to the extent I had expected. These days, I understand that one of the differences going into future quarters is a planned lower advertising budget - but then I hear of a $20 million budget for WP8. I'm not criticizing this as unnecessary by any means, but the point is, presumably, lower advertising will not play much of a factor in improving income. Then what will be different this time around (WP7 vs. WP8)? Slightly higher revenue? Lower R&D? (I apologize to anyone who feels they've answered this already!) Corel has interested me because it is strategically a primary alternative to Microsoft. IMO, the market should want such an alternative, and should value it well. Perhaps this has not played out yet. Thanks to everyone who keeps this forum informed and interesting. Sean (I've posted in "fixed font" because this won't format properly.)
