LOL - with your stated family background - one would think you the Dem and me the Rep! My family - both sides have been in this part of the world since 1622 and 1650, respectively (paternal and maternal). Therefore, I am as about as much a WASP as I can be (although, the "P" didn't come about until the late 18th century with John Wesley and his followers). Also, being upper middle class, most eberyone pegs me as Rep.! Although, while a Dem, I am extremely moderate in my views and not straight-ticket.
