Cirrus, Re: Does the 128-bit memory bus mean there will be 4.2GB/s of memory bandwidth w/PC2100 DDR RAM? Is it like having dual Rambus channels?

Yes, exactly. And 5.2GB/sec with PC2600 DDR RAM -- that's over 50% more than i850 can deliver (3.2GB/sec) without the latency disadvantage. The only problem is that the FSB won't keep up with this speed. AMD had to increase it to 533 MHz (DDR) to keep up with memory bandwidth. But it should still achieve impressive scores in memory bandwidth dependent benchmarks.
