Michael: The system works on its own merit. But, when you have 10 stocks with a Merit Ranking of 60+ and are looking to buy one or two, it makes sense to look at some other familiar characteristics to help with the final decision rather than using the Merit Ranking only. It seems to me that one should be positive about CANSLIM before trying Pitbull. Otherwise, the selection process might not make sense. Having studied CANSLIM for two years helps me to see the value of Ford's simple approach. John
