As I have commented before, I believe Chemtrak can capitalize on their HIV test even if the market for the test kits is not what was originally envisioned. Why? I predict that J&J will bail as they did with the Cholesterol-test. Big players want big bucks and if J&J is disappointed, which they probably are, look for them to pull CONFIDE. And how will this affect CMTR? It leaves just them with just one competitor for the whole OTC HIV-test market -- a market which might not be big for a J&J, but big enough for a CMTR. That is my prediction. Bill p.s. Anyone want to call Astra Merck directly for info on the impending launch of Hp Chek? I did last time.
