it's a method of rationalizing losses...just declare them to be foregone gains. his reasoning on MU and DRAMs is per se not something i would dismiss out of hand...only, he's way too early, as MU's stock is not yet priced for the collapse in DRAM prices. it will be priced for that once it's a teenager. at that point i'd consider buying it too. first have to see all the 'analysts' hate it though. like they hated semis in late '98...which was a great time to pick up LSI, BRKS, AMD, etc...

these stocks often make complete round-trips due to the cyclical nature of their business. chart-wise, the SOX looks like it wants to re-visit the 400 level, where it topped in the previous cycle.
