mundane topic: stocks... fiberoptics did well today interesting that SDLI rose 16 to 245, while JDSU rose 1+ to 70 the ratio is now exactly 3.5, much higher than a while back CIEN benefitted from news that Qwest was to abandon Nortel and turn to Ciena for a large contract JDSU trades at a PEratio less than its expected y2001 growth rate which is about 110-115% excuse me while I barf, Gore is speaking on the tube whew! at least he was brief now his people can go interpret the will and minds of the people / JW
