I find it illuminating that while the Republicans chase chads in Coral Gables, claiming great harm is being done to them in this mockery of election etiquette, a hand re-count, that simultaneously they are vigorously supporting hand recounts in at least six counties in New Mexico where some punchcard ballots are being counted that have been marked with a pen. So, when the vote goes for Bush, it's perfectly OK to hand re-count. But in the case of counties where the vastly more accurate hand recount can and will increase Gore's tally, the Republicans are adamantly opposed. Thinking, honest and intelligent Republicans should be appalled by the Bush campaign tactics.
The HYPOCRACY of the GOP knows no bounds. Disgusting.
