I'd love to hear from any thread members who have no strong feelings for either candidate -- what do they think about
hand recounts in this process?

I was not for either (thought to be honest I've been concerned about someone as mentally challenged as Bush being President). A supervised hand recount where both parties are monitoring the recount seems like the fairest solution as it will determine the true will of the voters. A machine recount by an inaccurate machine (which discards ballots in the same manner each time) is not a valid or reliable measurement. If Bush truly won Florida, why is he afraid of a supervised hand recount?
