Don, Clinton did it on his own. His party spent most of the last eight years running away from him. The Dems tried running against Clinton in 1994, and handed the Congress over to the Republicans. Gore tried a similar strategy of distancing himself from Clinton, and may have blown a sure win in the process. As much as people complain about Clinton, he is a very strong figure. Scumbria
