Could be that true h&s's are a lot more rare than would be convenient.

Nothing's perfect I guess. I don't know if I've ever seen the nirvana of H&S. RIMM is close but that up volume spike at the end of October is weird and as you say may invalidate the whole pattern. It'll likely confirm with a market tumble otherwise its probably a great long.
