Why shouldnt Bush gracefully bow out? Gore has the electorate college lead. Even if you stop the recount entirely, there is STILL a margin of only 300 votes. Absentee have not even been counted. Gore should not concede to anything at this point. If Bush gets a substantial amount of the absentee votes, I think Gore will step out. But at this point any concession is premature. This is not an issue of the inherent worth of mankind. As a christian I am offended by the way you and others use the word of God to reinforce a position that is so far from Godliness. From His pov, this whole thing is a mess both men are corrupt and neither ought to be the leader, God does not hedge his bets and try to take second best. Since we are all part of the master plan, at this point the winner will win only by the will of God.
