I don't believe the Republicans would be doing the same thing. The vote in Fl. was very close and triggered an automatic recount. Bush won both times. Gore elected to escalate the drama and sent Daley and Christopher to Florida and they started their press conferences threatening legal actions and demanding recounts, just in the counties they have very high penetration in. They also created the furor in Palm Beach by having a giant phone bank call literally thousands of their supporters on election day and telling them to complain about the ballot in Palm Beach. To continue the gutter politics of Gore here is the latest. They have sent out a 5 page instruction on how to challenge the absentee votes of our servicemen. They know the military will be strongly for Bush and they have a game plan to deprive them of their vote. They are bastards! People protecting our country and someone didn't send or tried to deprive them of their absentee ballots. Those that received them and returned them now have a contrived plan on how to disallow their vote through some corrupt plan.
