PT,

re: < I played with the numbers for a bit in a spreadsheet and then decided to see look at the current value. >

Did you create that Intel Capital portfolio? Great work, and a nifty way of using SI portfolio feature - I'm very impressed. I book-marked it.

To all: If you happen to read this post, please bookmark this siliconinvestor.com This link takes you to the Intel Capital portfolio set up by PT that gets updated automatically with current prices (SI portfolio feature).

PT - In my data, I used '????' when the number of shares owned by Intel are unknown. I used Yahoo financial - top institutional holders feature to figure out the number of shares owned by Intel. I also noticed that you adjusted Intel portfolio value by $86 millions to reflect the value of shares disposed by Intel in Q3'00. I suspect Intel has tons of AOL shares. Any high number of shares in other companies would have registered Intel in the top ten holders list of that company on Yahoo. From all the companies listed in Intel Capital, only with AOL from the list that Intel can own lot of shares, and not make into top ten institutional holders list of AOL.
