One thing I remember with fondness from the Reagun years is Oliver North sitting there day after day with his back perfectly straight and only using the last 4 inches of his chair. The congressmen asked him thousands of questions and he was smart enough to answer every one of without lying but never telling the truth. It kind of reminds me a little of the way Daley has been talking these past 10 days except Daley is so much easier to see through. Then there was Reagan himself being questioned, I think he answered either "I don't know" or "I can't remember" to every question they asked him.
