Now it seems Gore has taken New Mexico by 481 votes. There's something wrong with the political system, and it's the electorial colleges. Whoever has the most electorial votes is declared the winner, and whoever has the most popular votes isn't even assured a victory.

I didn't vote for Mr. Gore, and given a second chance, I still wouldn't, but the fact remains that if he has the most popular votes, I believe he should be declared the winner. It goes the same for any candidate who receives the most popular votes.

Oh well, a nation is still waiting!
