From Martin Twist: Friday, November 17, 2000 . . . 11:47 AM SUCCESS HOFF#1: We drilled out the Float Shoe and the Gas and pressure came instantly. Apparently, all 3 perforations in the past were ineffective. We have approximately 4805 lbs of tophole gas pressure. The pressure sent most all of the drilling fluid out of the hole. The rest of today we will continue to drill a few more feet down into the formation. We expect to properly set up all needed equipment over the weekend, and do the open-flow test Monday.
