So for years past there have been manual miscounts The manual recount is still far more accurate than the machine recount. This has been verified through 40 years use of these punch card ballots. You imply that these IBM mechanical beasts were just dropped off in Florida for this election. They have been used, and counted, and recounted, and tested, and analysed, and coorelated for 40 years. All evidence says in a close election use a manual recount. TP
