Coal --- I agree with you. I was careful to say "Residential Coal-Burning Furnaces" which is a very different thing than state-of-the-art coal burning power plants.
Gold may have its good days. wdik? But trying to draw parallels with oil/NG is not appropriate, imho.
I thought I'd try to be a bit amusing with that <<OT>>post since I've a little time to kill. No serious intent to start a sell-off in gold. <G> -------------------------------- But on a more serious note, Slider, let me point out something to you--- Here's a clip from your post to me:
<<<"...Gold has been given it's last rites by far, better than you little Di;..."
You have a habit of trying to belittle those you disagree with. You've been doing it for years. --- Yet when anyone else posts anything which (even politely) disputes you, or your opinion, or your self-image, you fly up in a rage.
It seems to me that a person who wants to be treated with respect should treat others with respect. You don't treat others with respect, yet you take great offense at the smallest slight. Why is that?
Btw, I'm 6'1" Skinny, but not little. And I'd bet my earned income is at least three times yours. I'm richer and taller and smarter than you. --So why are you calling me "little Di"? ----Oh! I guess that is why.
Good luck with your gold! You might be on to something, I guess. Looks like bad odds to me, but I haven't looked into it in depth, I admit.
regards, diana
