I believe most Americans will consider the facts; The Florida vote came within the window that required a recount. Bush won the first vote and then he won the second count. At that point the result was Bush won excepting to wait for the absentee ballots to be counted within the 10 day window. Gore, violating every code of ethics historically and by his predecessors, chose to loose his hounds on the state. He sent Daley and Christopher down and started threatening lawsuits, wanting recounts, etc.. Bush did nothing to precipitate these actions. Bush was prepared to follow the code of decorum and wait for the final count as has been historically done and accept the result. The absolute catalyst for this possible Constitutional Crisis is Al Gore. He deserves the contempt of the American people for what he is doing to our Republic.
