They are not recounting wards, they are recounting counties, at least I would hope. Gore offered to recount the entire state, Bush turned him down. Now you are complaining about equal protection. Gore offered him equal protection. There was a discrepancy of at least 1000 votes between machine counts. That says to me that machine counts are flawed. That is why hand recounts are necessary and prudent. WHY THE RUSH TO JUDGEMENT? Is is because Bush is ahead by any chance?
