Based on studies of problems with punch card ballots, the overwhelming problem is that the voter fails to punch out the hole so that the chad remains in place or partially in place, the vote is not counted.

I would be extremely interested in seeing these studies, to look at the demographics of the voters being questioned, and to the overall scientific bent of the procedures used. Such a consistent group of studies, if conducted wirh a reliable methodology, would certainly add some valuable information here.

I would appreciate some links or references to these studies you are referring to so that I might get an independent sense of their credibility. Thanks in advance, Williamvictor. Your name doesn't come from 1062, does it?!
