I agree - Gore is now far past the point of no return. - CAUTION - Partisan zone / post:

After whining about every vote must be counted, his indefensable actions to block the military vote IMO will come back to haunt him and be the final nail in his political career.

Whether he goes on to somehow steal this election, or if he loses - his political career is over.

There is no way IMO he will ever be able to come back in 2004, either for a 2nd illegitimate term, or to try and unseat Bush after basically declaring war on the military by having his cronies deny their votes.

Some of the American public may be able to sit back and accept the call for some recounts, etc - but to wage a full fledged campaign to block the votes of the men and woman serving our country is just plain wrong. The public will be outraged over this . He can never recover from this - so all IMO he has left to do is trudge on, doing whatever he can, both legally and illegally, in an attempt to steal this election.

Hard to believe that some considered gore a statesman. This effort clearly dispells that myth. The Gore/leiberman ticket has clearly become the win at any costs, Sore / loserman ticket.

Sorry if this post offended anyone, but an attack on the men and woman who serve our country and protect our freedom is completely uncalled for and out of line by Gore
