Zeev, Re:Do you think it might be possible that the Republicans are crying "wolf" while in the meanwhile doing whatever they can to prevent absentee ballots in Dems' counties from being included and than shouting at the top of their lungs, "the Dems are discarding absentee ballots of our military". I do not think it helps the situation to speculate about the Republicans crying wolf. I heard a TV report to the effect that the Republicans spent heavily on getting in the overseas vote while the Democrats did not. This could account for the unusually high ratio of Republican to Democrat votes in Florida. Your speculation is does not fit these facts. Also, I do not think you can with any validity say that Gore would have won the absentee ballot if..... Unfortunately, the main victim of these PR campaigns is the truth. Clearly, none of the partisans or political operatives care a whit about the truth. They only want to win at any cost short of a jail sentence. JMO
