Postmarks are made by the originating post office, which has NOTHING to do with the date the letter arrives at the destination. The chief postmaster for the USS Kennedy Aircraft carrier submitted an affidavit today stating that most military ships do not issue postmarks.

Therefore, most votes from navy personel cannot be counted under the law.

The law must make an exception, or else you must admit the law makes it impossible for many naval servicemen to vote.

"Under state law, ballots without postmarks are not counted, since it can't be determined if the ballot arrived prior to the deadline."
Should this law be changed at this time?
